better than I thought

So i went in to class yesterday think that the essay I turned in the last class time was going to be bad. SO we went Thur class wondering how we did and at the end of class we got them back. So I get handed mine and the teacher tell me I would like to talk to you so can you wait. SO I wait and she tells me It was a good essay but I need to just add more body into it. So I did better than I thought and it makes me feel a little better about writing my next essay.I know now that by the end of this semester I will be better than I could ever have thought.

    I used to have a poster in my classroom that read, "The journey of a lifetime begins with a single step." It probably shoud have read, "An excellent essay begins with a single word."

    You will get where you want to be as you have the strength to grow one step at a time. Do not hesitate to continue to write; as a matter of fact, post a blog a couple of times a week, about any topic you choose. The more you write, the easier it becomes to write.
